Third XI Player of the Year
If ever there was an undisputed winner of an award, then "Smokin" Joe Campbell
was it for the Third XI Player of the Year. With 668 runs at an average of
83.50, including 3 centuries and 2 half-centuries, he was also top wicket-taker
with 18 wickets at an average of 13.56.

Fourth XI Player of the Year
Fittingly, this years winner of the Fourth XI Player of the Year award was also
the team captain, Tommie Humphries. Leading from the front, he scored 215 runs
at an average of 21.50 with a highest score of 76 and he completed a strong all-
round contribution with 9 wickets at an average of just 16.56.

Under-15 Bowler of the Year
A previous winner of the Under-13 Batsman of the Year trophy, Matthew Kernohan,
who was a regular for the Third XI this season and made a deserved Second XI
debut, was a deserving winner of the Under-15 Bowler of the Year trophy. He
took 10 wickets for the Under-15's with an average of just 9.5 and also picked
up 8 wickets for the Third XI (average 25.00) and a further
4 wickets for the Second XI.

Under-15 Batsman of the Year
With a season's contribution to he Under-15's of 132 runs at an average of 26.40
and a highest score of 58 against local rivals Larne, Scott Loudon picked up the
trophy for Under-15 Batsman of the Year.

Under-13 Bowler of the Year
His outstanding contribution to the Lords Taverners Belfast Under-14 team's
Inner Cities Cup victory has already been mentioned, with his recognition as
"Bowler of the Tournament". A deserving winner of the Under-13 Bowler of the
Year award, Matthew Palmer also took 14 wickets for our own Under-13 team with
an incredible average of just 3.36! In an excellent season, the young left-arm
spinner managed to also top the Fourth XI bowling rankings with 9 wickets at an
average of 7.89.

Under-13 Batsman of the Year
In his first season with the Club, Jack Simpson managed to clock up a batting
average of 22.33, with a highest score of 39 n.o. against Larne, Jack Simpson
was a worthy winner of our Under-13 Batsman of the Year award.
