Michael McIlroy Batting Style Bowling Style Right-hand Right-arm fast-medium Profile One of the clubs most successful ever bowlers, he took wickets over 400 1st XI wickets @ 14.4. Also scored useful lower order runs on occasions. Player of the Year 2000 and has won 1st XI Bowling Cup on no fewer than nine occasions. Captain in 2000 & 2001. Retired in 2004 due to back injury. Returned in 2010 to play for the 3rd and 4th XIs and help with the development of the club's young players. Returned to 1st XI in 2012 with some success and now back playing on a regular basis.
