A special presentation was made on the night to the two young Carrickfergus
players chosen to represent the Belfast Under 14's in the Lord's Taverners
Inner Cities Cup, which the local team won for the third time this year at
Arundel. The team was managed again this year by our own Roger Bell and
assistant manager, George Wilson, paid warm tribute to the contributions made
by the two young Carrickfergus players. Indeed, Matthew Palmer was named Bowler
of the Tournament, with his match-winning 6 for 19 in the final.
