Club Cricketer of the Year
Adding 16 wickets at 31.94 with an economy rate of 3.2 to a season total of
552 runs at 32.47 as well as captaining the First XI to Premier League survival
despite a number of setbacks, it is easy to see why our Cricketer of the Year is
Ryan Eagleson for the fifth year in succession and a record eighth occasion in
total.

First XI Batsman of the Year
Our winner this year, Ryan Eagleson, has won the First XI Cricketer of the Year
Cup and First XI Batting Cup both on several occasions but this is actually the
first time he had had his name on this particular trophy, completing a unique
treble as the only player to get his name on all three of the major trophies.
This year he had an outstanding season with the bat, often coming in after the
loss of early wickets. He scored a total of 552 runs at 32.47, including 4
fifties and a highest score of 87 not out.

First XI Bowler of the Year
Our winner, Anthony Martin, has been one of the quickest bowlers in the league
for a couple of years now but has been a little wayward in the past. This year
he has started to get it right a bit more often and has troubled the very best
of batsmen. He was the leading wicket-taker for the First XI with 23 wickets at
33.57 with best figures of 4 for 61. He is getting better all the time abd the
best is yet to come.
